Children’s Advocacy Center appoints new Executive Director

Wilmington, DE, June 30 -- The Board of Trustees of the Children’s Advocacy Center of Delaware, Inc. announced that it has appointed Randall Williams as its Executive Director.  Mr. Williams, a life- long resident of the state, joins The Children’s Advocacy Center after a 29-year public service career with the State of Delaware, where he most recently served as The Court Administrator for the Family Court.  He received his undergraduate degree from the University of Delaware and resides with his wife and two children in New Castle County.

“I am delighted that Randy is joining our agency after a long career of public service with the Family Court,” said Matthew Lynch, Chairman of the Board of Trustees of The Children’s Advocacy Center. “Our Board of Directors is excited that we were able to appoint an Executive Director who has deep Delaware roots, strong management and leadership skills, as well as many years of experience in Delaware’s criminal and civil justice systems.  Randy’s experience coupled with his strong commitment and dedication to serving the children and families of our state make him ideally suited for the position.”

The Children’s Advocacy Center of Delaware, Inc. is a non-profit organization that advocates and intervenes on behalf of abused children to reduce the devastating long-term effects of child abuse on children, their families and society.  The Center, with locations in all three Delaware counties, provides a child-friendly setting to coordinate services that expedite the investigation and prosecution of child abuse cases while ensuring the victims receive effective, immediate and sensitive support.
